Utah

After staying at grandma Chele's we drove up to Utah to meet Daddy. He had just flown back from Grand Cayman.   We were both so excited to see him.  Ayla wouldn't let him out of her site for days and was very clingy always wanting him to hold her.  She loves her Daddy!
We had lots of fun staying at grandma Lisa's.  All the family got together to visit graves on Memorial Day.

Daddy started his training for his new promotion in Salt Lake so we stayed with Aunt Camie and Uncle Jeff and helped them move into there new house. Ayla loved spending time with her cousins. Hazel wanted to do everything with Ayla, they took baths together and she would get in the pack n play with her and snuggle before they went to bed.  They played so cute together.

Ayla had donuts for the first time on fun Friday and she loved them!
We all went and got huge snow cones for family night.  This wasn't even the biggest size!
I took Ayla off roading on a hike in the BOB.
She has gotten really good at climbing stairs.
I got my first set on shellac nails right before our adults only trip to Vegas.
A bunch of the fam went to the Real Salt Lake soccer game.
Ayla stayed with Grandma Chele so Daddy and I could go to Vegas to celebrate Aunt Dano turning 21!
We hung out at the pool, ate at some buffets, went to the cirque du soliel show Zarkana, did some shopping, a little gambling and "watched a few movies." It was so nice to have a little adult time. But we sure missed our girl!  This was the first time we had both left her for more than a couple hours. But she had so much fun with her grandma Chele!

It's Been A While!

Posting from my phone for the first time.

We have been homeless for the past two months since leaving Grand Cayman in May. Life has felt a little chaotic and unsettled but we have had tons of fun spending time with our families!

I still have lots of photos waiting to be downloaded off our camera from the end of our time in Grand Cayman and I hope to get them up here on the blog eventually.

Since being back in the states with a REAL cell phone, all the pictures I take are on my phone.   Thank you iPhone 5.  I finally took the time to figure out how to post them from my phone to my blog.  So hopefully I can get caught up with what we have been up to the past few months.

Ayla and I came to Idaho and stayed at my parents for a couple weeks while Chris finished up his job in Grand Cayman.
We went to the Boise zoo.

And visited grandma BB
We visited grandma Chele at work.  Ayla was in heaven with all the books! She would grab books off the shelf one at a time and bring them to grandma.  She didn't want to read them as she was too overwhelmed with the bounty before her, but would bring one to her and then go and get another one.  Soon there was was a table full of books that needed to be put away.

We had some early mornings and they were chilly.
We went to cousins Mikayla's graduation party and there were lots of fun cousins to play with.
Ayla and Zuri love having so much space to roam around and play. They both really love grandma Chele's and grandpa's dogs Archer and Taco.  Ayla is so excited each time she sees the dogs.  Especially Archer the  big white German Shepherd.  Oh how she loves him.  She practically yells in her big girl voice DOH, which means dog, over and over again.  Then she pats him on the head.  She pats her chest when she wants the dogs to come to her and loves to play with them throwing balls and sharing her snacks all the while giggling with joy.  It is just the cutest thing ever!
She also loves to go see the horses.  We have to take her out to see them about 5 or 6 times a day.  She will reach her arms up to you asking to be picked up and then once you do she points her little finger in the direction of outside till you take her to the horses.  She really loves them and doesn't feel satisfied that she really got to see them unless she gets to pet them too.
We had so much fun visiting with them!
