The next day we had a big cruise ship in, which means the store is very busy, which means Chris and I had to work.
So my family slept in, ate breakfast, and then walked around the shops downtown. They came and visited us at work. So they all got to see where we worked and got a free necklace and bought a bamboo shirt.
After work we went to the Key West Museum or Art and History. Here are some of the pictures we took.
Then we walked around the Clinton Square Mall and went to the Toy Factory.
We ate dinner at El Siboney. A great little local Cuban Restaurant. It is soooo good.
Everyone was pretty full afterward. Those Cubans don't skimp on portion size.
After dinner we went to Mallory Square to watch the Sunset. Mallory square is the place to be for sunset because there are always several people playing music and putting on acts and doing tricks. We watched two different shows. 1. A 50 year old black gymnast. He was actually really good. Chandler got pick to be the volunteer. So that was exciting. Especially, when he almost got his nut sack smashed when the gymnast did a back-flip in between Chandlers legs while we was lieing on the floor. I wish I had pictures of this. It was hilarious.
2. An escape artist. Again, Jared and my dad were picked to be volunteers in the show. After that is was dark so all the shows were over.
We got chocolate covered Key lime pie on a stick. Of course, because it is my favorite and EVERYONE loved it! Then we headed back home. We all went for a late night swim at our pool. This was especially fun because we brought Zuri along with us. She sure did enjoy swimming in the pool. We played some water games and ended the night with some good old chicken fights. We mixed up the teams in every way we could but it didn't matter whoever was on Jared's team always won. :(
That was day two.
