3 year anniversary a little early

We decided we wanted to take a little trip for our 3 year anniversary.  With work and scheduling it was easier for us to get away this past week.  So we decided we would celebrate a few days early.
We drove up to spend a couple nights in Key Largo.  On the way we stopped and ate at Boondocks.

We pulled over to watch the sunset and take a few pics.

The next day we went on a snorkeling tour and hung out at John Pennakamp State Park.  Key Largo is known for its astounding coral reef.  The snorkeling was really fun, especially since we haven't been in awhile.  But we are really spoiled with all the amazing snorkeling we have done in Hawaii and Mexico.

These are a couple of our modeling photos we like to take of one another.

The next day we drove up to Miami.  We went shopping, I got my hair done, and we spent a little time at the Hard Rock Casino.

Chris got pretty lucky.  He loves that Texas Holdem game.

One thing we love about staying at a hotel is a big, comfy, bed.

The next day was a beach day.  We went to a beach on the outskirts of Miami, where the sand is actually made of seashells.
There are lots of big shells like these, but if you click on the picture to make it larger you can see the sand is actually made of tiny pieces of seashell.

That night we went to dinner at a great local Mexican restaurant.  Then we went and walked around the Bal Harbour Mall.  This is a really cool outdoor mall.  They had lots of high end designer specialty shops that you don't find everywhere.

Our last day was spent sleeping in.  Eating out.  I got pampered with a mani/pedi. and sitting in traffic.

On our way home there was a pretty bad accident.  We were only a few cars away from the actual accident but the traffic was backed up as far as I could see.   People need to be more careful when they drive.  Some girl cut this lady off causing her to roll her car over.  There was a mother and a daughter in the car both had to be rushed to the hospital, but of course the girl who cut them off was fine.  I feel bad for the girl though, she must feel awful.  I sure hope the mother and daughter are ok.  I heard they were in critical condition.

Other than that though we had a really fun trip!  Thanks to my baby for taking the time to make our anniversary special, and thanks to our interns for running the stores and watching Zuri.  We really appreciate it!
