Saturday December 1st we took Ayla to her First Dolphin Encounter. She loved the dolphin, but she hated her life jacket. A you can see it in the first picture of her with her Daddy it was constantly riding up by her neck. She didn't like that very much. But she sure looked cute in her life jacket.
We picked a good day to go. there were no cruise ships in town so it was a slow day and we got our own private dolphin experience. The following pictures of Ayla interacting with the dolphin are pretty much the sweetest pictures ever.
Daddy even got his picture taken giving the dolphin a big SMOOCH!

Here the dolphin was playing splash, and was splashing poor Ayla in the face.
Good thing she is tough, she didn't cry.
To say goodbye our dolphin left us with a good show of tricks. Too bad Ayla won't remember this experience, we sure had fun sharing it with her. Good thing we have pictures and this blog to tell her all the fun things she got to do the first year of her life.
