Another week has flown by. We have done some fun thing this week but, somehow the only pictures I managed to take were of Ayla sleeping with her little leg hanging out the side of her crib.
Some of the highlights from our week include:
- Storytime and splashing in the fountain at Camana Bay
- Taking Zuri to the groomers, and showing Ayla all the birds and fish at the pet store.
- Trips to the grocery store, Ayla loves to ride in the grocery cart
- Pilates classes and Yoga on the Porch at Tina's house
- Friday Playgroup, where Ayla enjoyed playing with Barbie for the first time
- Playing puzzles with Ayla. Ayla love to play with puzzle pieces, our game mainly consist of me trying to put each piece in the puzzle and then Ayla taking each piece out and we do it over and over again.
- Some of Ayla's favorite foods this week include: blueberries, watermelon, scrambled eggs, peas, carrots, and graham crackers.
Saturday we had a a fun family day, we all went to Breakfast at Tim Buc Too for there $5 all you can eat chocolate chip pancakes and iced chocolate milk! Then we headed over to Governors Beach to relax in the sand and splash in the ocean. We played catch with a beach ball. Ayla really liked that game. Then we came home to shower and get ready to go to a dinner at the church with some of the branch leadership. Our Mission President was in town and wanted to have a dinner together. It was a great meal. Ayla was on her best behavior, and the entertainment for the evening captivating the table with her sweet smiles, friendly waves, and joyful giggles. Unfortunately, the dessert which was this fabulous fruit custard had some hidden bananas in the bottom (Chris is extremely allergic to bananas) he accidentally stuck one in his mouth, not realizing what it was and quickly excused himself from the table to rush to the bathroom and spit it out. But that was all it took. By the time dinner was over and we were outside Chris was dry-heaving in the parking lot. He went right to bed and slept all the next day til 3pm. Only waking up briefly to watch Ayla from 8:30 to 9:30 while I went to branch council. Then back to bed, while I took Ayla to church with me.
Hopefully, he will be feeling better tomorrow. Those darn bananas.
