Home!

We have been back in florida for about two weeks now, and they sure have been busy.  The first week was spent, getting back into our normal routine, doing laundry, unpacking, grocery shopping, getting back to the gym, doctors appointments, and weekly date nights.   Then on Saturday we all went to the Miami Seaquarium.   Ayla liked it much better this time.  The first time I took her she wasn't sure she liked it that much, but I think she was just really tired.

There really isn't much better than a Frozen Chocolate Banana on a hot day!
This week we took a little trip to Naples Florida.  It is about 1.5 hours from where we live.  Chris needed to go there for a work trip so we decided to all go as a last family getaway before we become a family of four!  We stayed for 3 days and two nights.

We stayed at really nice resort!  They had a great pool with a zero point entry so Ayla could walk right in and it stayed shallow for a long ways.  She loved it.  I think it made her feel really big, since usually she just plays on the steps.  We ordered lunch poolside and sipped on frozen drinks.  It was also about a half mile from the beach so you could walk or ride a tram that picked you up at the pool.  So we hung out there building sandcastles and baking.  That is a new thing Ayla learned from Amy while we were in Idaho, baking in the sand.  We bake cakes, and cookies and all kinds of stuff now.
I also took Ayla to the Naples Zoo.  She had seriously been dying to go to the zoo since we have been home.  We went twice, once on Tuesday before we checked into our hotel and then again on Thursday after we checked out of our hotel.  It is a nice zoo, but I haven't been to a zoo that compares to the Miami zoo.  The Miami zoo is just so big and open.

Thursday evening about an hour after we got home I headed out for a Girls Night out to celebrate mine and Kimberly's birthdays!  We hadn't done a GNO for our birthdays yet so it was about time to get one in!  We all got pedicures and then went out for Smoothies.   So nice to be reunited with my girls again. :)

Saturday my friends threw me a baby shower!  It was a super cute nautical theme.  I feel so blessed for the friends we have here.  We have been given so much for this new little man!

It is weird coming back to church cause there are several new families in the ward!  So we are playing catch up meeting everyone.  Plus we just found out today that our ward boundaries have expanded and now instead of being the Davie ward we will be the Ft. Lauderdale ward and will be taking in an additional 66 new families!   We need to start being on time for sacrament or there is no way we will get a bench seat anymore.  Our ward is about to get a whole lot bigger!  Exciting new growth happening in our area right now.
