Chris's Mom Lisa flew out Monday Night so she was able to stay with Ayla while we were in the hospital! Ayla loved having some one on one Grandma time.
Ayla was very unsure how she felt about Reef at first and basically didn't want anything to do with him. She did seem concerned about me and the fact that I had to stay in the hospital bed.
The recovery has definitely been harder, more painful and slower this time around.
But so worth it!
We got to come home Friday afternoon! Jeff flew out Friday morning and then mom flew in Friday afternoon about an hour after we got home.
The night we got home was the first time Ayla asked to hold baby Reef!
She also got to feed him some expressed breast milk!
We are so grateful for our family and all the extra help and support through this transition to a family of four!
