1. typically, 5 days a week my go to look is yoga pants/sweats, a t shirt, no make up, and hair in a wad on the top of my head.
2. i take a nap during the day if i feel so inclined to.
3. its a rare and blessed occurrence when I get to take a bath alone, most of the time i am doing this with my baby in the tub with me. all other times it is a quick in and out shower. oh the luxury of baths, i miss it.
4. hubby automatically assumes everytime the baby cries, she is hungry.
5. i love the smell of clean diapers. has anyone ever noticed clean diapers have a smell, well they do and it is great. i wish i could go around smelling clean diapers all day, you know, instead of NOT clean diapers.
6. ummm..... breast milk tastes nasty. there i said it. Sick! i know. but how do baby's drink that stuff?
7. having a dog and a baby i thought the dog might have a hard time differentiating between the baby's toys and the doggie toys. turns out doggie knows the difference. baby does not. i have saved many a dog toy from the slobbery gums of baby, but unfortunately not all of them. triple nasty.
8. doggie likes baby food. and baby likes feeding doggie baby food. what is a mom to do? suggestions?
9. husband has new annoying habit of laying his clothes on the couch. then when he comes home from work and i have picked up after him and moved his basketball shorts from the couch to the laundry basket. he is the one that gets upset. am i the only one who thinks something is wrong with this?
10. whenever i ask husband if he knows where something is. his immediate response is "i don't know, you are the one that cleaned" or "i don't know, i didn't use it last." although this may be true, these types of responses make my blood boil. one day i asked husband if he could please respond with, "dear beautiful wife, i honestly don't know where the item is you are looking for but i will be happy to help you look for it." that didn't go over well. note to self: never ask husband to respond to a question in a particular manner.
11. baby has decided that sometimes she likes to stay up late. like 10pm. mommy does not like this bedtime, not one bit. help!
12. and last but definitely not least, sometimes... i wish... i wish i were a mermaid that lived under the sea. It is so quiet under the sea.
